Extremely rare LOMO 7C41 director's viewfinder.
This is the early version from 1977. Serial 770031.

This version is made of pure metal and glass. No plastic parts like subsequent versions.

The LOMO 7C-41 (Cyrillic: ЛОМО 7С-41) is an extremely rare, purely optical director's viewfinder that was manufactured in the Soviet Union in the 1970s and 1980s by the optics company LOMO in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). It was used by directors and cameramen on film sets to plan the image section and perspective without having to move the heavy cinema camera.

Today the 7C-41 is a sought-after vintage collector's item among cinephiles and lovers of analog film technology. Since it was produced in relatively small numbers (often for state film studios such as Tallinnfilm or Mosfilm), it rarely appears on the used market.

The LOMO 7c 41 USSR/Russian Director's Viewfinder Vintage 1977 7C-41 is a highly sought-after collectible item in the world of photography. This unique viewfinder offers a maximum aperture of f/2. With a focal length range of 18-150mm, it allows for versatile shooting capabilities. Made of brass and featuring manual focus, this Director's Viewfinder is a rare find for vintage camera enthusiasts and collectors alike. Its country of origin, Russian Federation, adds to its nostalgic charm and value.

LOMO 7C41 director's viewfinder (range 18-150mm for standard or 35-300mm for anamorphic frame).

Format:
It is primarily designed for the classic Soviet and international 35mm cinema film format (Standard 35 / Super 35).
