Extremely rare PO2-2М 75mm f/2 M42 USSR professional cinema lens (later OKC1-75-1).
Modified and adapted for SLR / DSLR cameras M42. Can be used with an adapter on other systems.
Very good condition, tested. Not without signs of wear at this age.
Its high light output and resolution enable the lens to be used for shooting feature films, sports films, documentaries, etc. Due to its unusual optical design, the lens delivers an outstanding single image with spectacular bokeh (see sample images).
The optical design of the PO2-2 is considered the prototype of the Leica Noctilux.
The RO2-2M (later OKC1-75-1) 75mm 1: 2 is a fast lens that is manufactured in the KMZ (Krsnogorsk Mechanical Plant). It is designed for professional 35mm film cameras with an image size of 16x22mm. The lens elements were chemically coated.
The image quality is equal to or superior to that of the Biotar 75mm.
