Joint production of the famous Austrian company Lomography and the Krasnogorsk Optical Plant KMZ.

With the same superbly compact design and classic demeanor, the technical specifications of the original Jupiter 3 have been recalculated to make this highly specialized lens far more accessible to today's photographers. It is available with L39 and M mount cameras as well as a wide range of other cameras with adapter mounts.

The New Jupiter 3+ Art Lens is manufactured in small batches and is therefore only available in very limited quantities.

The Jupiter was designed for 35mm film, so it covers a full-frame image circle, with its 50mm focal length delivering a traditional standard-angle field of view when paired with a full-frame body like the Sony Alpha 7 II or the Leica M. When paired with an APS-C mirrorless system the field of view narrows, approximating that of the 75mm prime on a full-frame system, and it narrows more on a Micro Four Thirds camera, matching the telephoto look of a 100mm lens on a full-frame body.
