Lomogon 2.5/32mm Art Lens
An early and better version of the Lomogon lens is offered here.
Limited numbers were produced at Krasnogorsky Mechanical Plant KMZ. See inscription on the front part of the lens: "Lomography+Zenit" and as such this is a limited edition.
Other Lomogon lenses do not have the "Zenit" label.
This lens has an optical scheme with 7 elements in 7 groups. The newer lenses (which are not produced by Zenit KMZ) have 6 elements in 6 groups.
The Lomography-Zenit 2.5/32 is a wide angle prime lens with retrofocus for Nikon and Canon full frame DSLRs.
Retro design with revolving diaphragm. Has corrected distortion. Two versions of case design - brass and black.
Prepared for the release of KMZ together with the Lomographic Society under the Petzval brand. After significant controversy, it was renamed Zenitar in 2018. The release was announced in 2018, but did not really go into the series.
Currently, the Lomographic Society is selling a similar lens (only without the Zenit name) made in China with a modified optical design (six lenses in six components)
