Y-1.4x yellow. To weaken the effect of blue-blue rays on the emulsion layer of photographic film. When shooting a blue sky with clouds, it enhances the contrast.
Y-2x yellow. Absorbs blue-blue rays to a greater extent than the Zh-1.4x light filter. The blue sky turns out to be gray, of medium density. Weakens the effect of atmospheric haze.
Y-2x dark yellow. he dark yellow light filter acts like the yellow ZhS-17, but is stronger than it, distorting the tone reproduction in the direction of enhancing the filtering. In a landscape, a dark yellow filter increases contrast, highlights clouds in an intensified, pale blue sky, renders a bright blue sky dark with a strong selection of clouds, well reveals bluish distances, destroys aerial perspective. On "Isochrome" and "Isopanchrome" the filter highlights the green tones.
O- orange. An orange light filter is used in cases where it is required to violate the correct tone reproduction, it is not applicable for normal shooting. The filter lightens the red color, renders the blue color excessively dark, greatly enhances the contrasts.
Positive attachment lens:
- Increases the relative aperture of the system (slightly).
