MC Mir-24m 35mm F2.0 Pentax M42 wide-angle Prime Lens.
The lens is provided with a special multilayer antireflection coating (MC) which upgrades the image quality and enhances its contrast due to better integrated transparence and reduced light dispersion.
Lenses with mounting thread M42 (M42 X 1 / 45.5)are very easy to use on almost any modern SLR and mirrorless camera, for this you just need to choose the right adapter. The lens displays good qualities on modern DSRL cameras.
The Mir-24М is fit for shooting architecture, landscapes, as well as for genre photography.
MIR-24M is RARE wide angle multi-coated (MC) lens for SLR 35mm cameras. This can be fit on the PENTAX and PRACTICA cameras too.
You can see a lot of MIR-24N lenses dedicated for Nikon F type bayonet, and rear part of the lens can be changed to M42, but springblend aperture driver will not work with M42.
This lens has the correct M42 mount. Fully compatible with regular 35mm M42 SLR cameras.
MIR-24M is very pretty and sharp lens, as I think, it is based at ideas of Flektogon 35mm lens. It has a big relative aperture, and it allow to adjust sharpness with poor lightning.
In the main, most all Soviet lenses are exceptionally good and this one is no exception!
