Jupiter-8 50mm f/2 is a fast prime lens for cameras with M39 Leica Screw Mount (LSM).
For rangefinders or mirrorless cameras.
The lens is interesting for its unique pattern.
On SLR cameras, Jupiter-8 2/50 only works in macro mode.
The undoubted advantage of the lens is a round aperture - 9 blades provide an almost round hole shape at any aperture. Aperture blades matte, gray. Aperture limits - F / 2-F / 22, without clicks.
Thanks to the optical design used, Jupiter-8 has an interesting bokeh that differs from the usual planar-like fifty dollars. Today, very few manufacturers produce lenses with the 'Sonnar' scheme or similar,
